Background

Turkish-born Spanish billionaire who founded fashion retailer Mango in 1984. Died on December 14, 2024 at age 71 after falling while hiking/exploring caves near Montserrat mountain outside Barcelona. At time of death, Mango had 2,700+ stores in 115+ markets worldwide and was rapidly expanding in the US. Andic served as non-executive chairman, with Toni Ruiz as CEO.
