Chairperson Emeritus of Thermax Limited, an energy and environment solutions company headquartered in Pune. Became chairperson in 1996 after husband Rohinton Aga's death, transforming the company during difficult times. One of India's richest women in engineering sector. Former member of Rajya Sabha (Indian Parliament upper house). Known philanthropist - joined The Giving Pledge in 2013. Cofounded Teach for India in 2008.
